CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENTS

Naalala namin ang panukala noon ng namayapang senadora Meriam Defensor-Santiago:

Kung halimbawang ma-imyendahan ngayon ang Consti batay sa hirit ni panggulong Digong, sana eh maaprobahan ang requirements for prospective presidential and vice presidential candidates in the PHL, viz;

1) Of good moral character, never been charged or found guilty of moral turpitude (KAHIYA-HIYANG KASAMAAN) or corruption (KATIWALIAN) before and during the election;

2) Must have at least a MASTER'S DEGREE (MA, MS, MM, etc) from a reputable college or university, and;

3) Must have undergone and passed a full psychiatric/psychological test from an independent reputable Psychological Evaluation Center.

Sakaling mapagtibay ang constitutional amendments na'to para sa mga kakandidatong presidente at bise presidente, eh we won't have the likes of Erap, Digong and Ate Glo (the latter will not pass the 1st requisite) para muling magkaroon ng katulad nilang mga PANGGULO ng PHL, o, 'di ba?
