METRO MANILA TO BE PLACED ON LOCKDOWN DUE TO CORONAVIRUS OUTBREAK

ANA: "Apektado sa lockdown ang lahat ng 12 million residente sa Metro Manila porke they will be barred from traveling outside the National Capital Region from March 15 to April 14, batay sa deklarasyon gabi ng March 12 ni panggulong Digong, upang mapigil ang patuloy na pagkalat ng novel coronavirus sa Pilipinas."

LISA: "Ang alert level kasi eh umabot na sa Code Red Sublevel 2, marking the first massive lockdown in the country in recent history. Ang MM eh kinabibilangan ng 16 cities at isang municipalidad ang isasailalim sa one month LOCKDOWN base nga sa rekomendasyon ng Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) ni Digong on the coronavirus outbreak."

CION: "Ayon pa sa IATF recommendation - 'Land, domestic air, domestic sea travel to and from Metro Manila SHALL BE suspended after the expiration of 48 hours from issuance of this Resolution' - pero wala pang inilabas na implementing guidelines on the travel restrictions. Under Section 6, Article lll of the Constitution, the government has the power to limit the right of people to travel if it is in the interest of NATIONAL SECURITY, PUBLIC SAFETY, OR PUBLIC HEALTH, as may be provided by law."
