In a democratic nation like the Philippines, the party or parties out of power, like the UNA, have the duty of CRITICIZING the policies of the party in power and offering alternative programs.
UNA uses newspapers, radio, television, and other means to tell the people about its program - CHANGE OF SENATE LEADERSHIP - as told by Sen Meriam, o, 'di ba?
ANA: "Ano ba talaga ang intensiyon ni Sen Meriam bakit nagpapa-interview siya sa tri-media, para wasakin ang coalition sa senado so the senate presidency would fall again in the hands of Enrile?"
LISA: "Sa bagong Congress, kanino ba kasi kumikiling si Meriam, kay Sen Alan o kay Sen Frank? Kasi, parang HINAHATI ni Meriam ang coalition, ano sa palagay mo?"
CION: Kumakambiyo at hindi kililing ang ibig mo sigurong sabihin, noh ha? Well, in fairness, nagpapahiwatig lang marahil, INDIRECTLY, si Meriam ke PNoy para iparamdam na FLEXIBLE pa rin siya at kaya niyang baluktutin ang coalition?"
